About Us
Three sisters who understood that serving others was their calling- Darlene Jackson, Evelyn Pope-Marshall, and Earljean Reavis were extraordinary women who found a calling within their ability to make a difference in the lives of graduating seniors.

As missionaries, these ladies dedicated their lives to their community. Serving as caregivers, leaders, and volunteers - they looked to uplift any and all with whom they came in contact. Spending a lot of time with upcoming generations, including their own children, the sisters came to realize a shared, reoccurring dilemma - lack of funds for continued education. Having been victims of this themselves, they were humbled by their understanding of how frustrating it was for young scholars and their families. Expenses like traveling home for the holidays, food, or even laundry put a strain on many of the households in their community. In 1994, Darlene Jackson started a college fund at her church for the graduating seniors. Her sisters loved the idea of helping young people reach their goals and were the first to patronize any fundraising event for this cause. This act planted the initial seed that later grew into The Sisters of Faith Scholarship Foundation, established in 2015.
