Our 2021- 2022 School Year
Our work began with its new administration on October 15, 2021. Deborah Richardson became the new president of the board for the Sisters of Faith Scholarship Foundation. Previous board members Elaine Johnson-Pope and Jacqueline Caldwell remained faithfully working with the new president. Jeanine Hargrove came on board in December.

Project #1 February 2022 "Our Black History" Fundraiser
This fundraiser focused on the founding sisters, Evelyn Pope-Marshall, Darlene Jackson, and Earljean Reavis. Our history was a ZOOM presentation showing the transition of their lives from the social sector into the gospel and religious servitude. That is how the scholarship foundation was birthed!
Project #2 Community Outreach "Operation Backpack"
This project focused on helping young people who were aging out of the foster care system. SOF Family members were asked to purchase bundles of personal items such as deodorant, toothpaste, soap, etc. to be included in each backpack. Backpacks were taken to schools in NC. School social workers received the backpacks and distributed them to students.

Project 3 Scholarship Presentation 2022
This project is the major focus of why we do what we do. We raise funds to support scholars going into their freshman year of college.
Project#4 Celebrate and Prepare for Next Year
This project is the time we come together and assess our wins and our challenges. We fellowship with a meal and we spend hours preparing to continue the work. We make better plans and move forward!
